This is my aloe plant, Today is 3-31-2012

Evan and I have started watching Breaking Bad. Currently we are on season 2, and we are absolutely hooked by the plot of this show. With the power of science, one can be so strong and impeccable. This reminds me of the long-going debate on "knowledge vs. muscles" (pen vs. sword) sort of debate. It's fascinating. You know if i was taken back to when I was 12 and had to make this decision I would have chosen sword under the influence of Chinese Kungfu. And now I choose science. With the power of science and engineering, one can apply themselves and form the "sharpest" weapons.


I learnt a lot over the past week, in terms of life decision making and how to do the right things to help yourself become a strong engineer. Great quote from my advisor/prof/P.I. "Don't make a decision unless you absolutely have to." and "Being a bioengineer, you need to anchor yourself in a traditional type of engineering to have your field of expertise." I really agreed with what Dr. Troyk shared with me and I will continue with my way on the road.

Took some cool photos today with my "HD cam" and planted the rest of my aloe vera seeds.
